DL Jones Construction is hiring an experienced Industrial Millwright Foreman for project work in North Dakota. We’re looking for a strong field leader with industrial construction and mechanical installation experience who can lead crews safely, maintain productivity, and deliver high-quality work in demanding industrial environments.

This position is ideal for a hands-on foreman who leads by example, communicates effectively, and understands how to manage crews, schedules, safety, and jobsite execution.

Pay & Benefits

• $35–$42 per hour DOE
• $125/day per diem provided

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead Millwrights, Ironworkers, Crane Operators, Riggers, Welders, and Laborers
• Oversee installation, alignment, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery and equipment
• Coordinate work involving conveyors, pumps, motors, presses, tanks, structural steel, and related systems
• Assign daily crew tasks and monitor productivity
• Lead crews in a safe, efficient, and professional manner
• Conduct and participate in daily safety toolbox meetings
• Ensure compliance with all project safety policies and procedures
• Communicate daily with the Project Superintendent regarding manpower, scheduling, materials, and job progress
• Identify and resolve jobsite issues, scheduling conflicts, and production challenges
• Coach and mentor crew members to improve skill development and performance
• Ensure all work meets company quality and safety standards

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in a Millwright Foreman or industrial leadership role
• Strong industrial mechanical and equipment installation background
• Experience leading crews in industrial construction or maintenance environments
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and project drawings
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Proven commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced field environments

Physical Requirements

• Ability to regularly lift up to 80 lbs
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, and work extended shifts
• Comfortable working at heights
• Ability to safely work around heavy industrial machinery and equipment
• Able to work outdoors and in changing weather conditions

Work Environment

This position works primarily in industrial field and construction environments where noise levels may be high and PPE is required. Candidates must be able to work safely and effectively in physically demanding jobsite conditions.
