Shop Hand

We are seeking a diligent shop hand to help with the day-to-day operations of our company. In this role, you will oversee the maintenance of all fleet vehicles, tools, equipment, errands/part running, hauling of equipment/material, and be responsible for cleaning and organizing the shop on regular basis. We are willing to work around complex schedules for students.

Shop Hand Responsibilities

· Monitors shop condition, including cleanliness, safety, and the condition of shop equipment

· Closely monitors all tool and equipment inventory in the shop and job sites

· Routine travel to job sites to complete tool inventory

· Ensure all equipment and tools are working properly

· Maintain a safe work environment

· Mobilize company trucks and trailers to job sites

· Pick up tools, equipment, and material for jobs and deliver them to sites

Shop Hand Requirements

· High school diploma or GED

· Valid driver's license

· Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, and Word

· Good knowledge of safety equipment and supplies

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Strong leadership abilities

· Good time-management and problem-solving skills

· Willingness to work long hours and overtime, if needed

· Willingness to utilize company vehicles and pull carious trailers to job sites
